~~* Articyn's World *~~
Seek out that particular mental attitude
which makes you feel most deeply and vitally alive,
along with which comes the inner voice
which says, "this is the real me,"
and when you have found that attitude, follow it.
WILLIAM JAMES (1842-1910)
I am the Cyn in Articyn! I hope this has given you a smile and moment or two of pause.
What you are seeing on these pages is the world of my imagination. This part of me
resides in spirit, heart and soul. It is a place I go, spending countless hours
creating worlds of wonder and magic. It has become a passion,
a "cyn"ful obssession. an experience of falling through the looking glass of my monitor
and entering a whole new world. I sincerely hope you enjoy my latest obsession.
My mother told me my first question was "Why?". She told me I drove her "crazy" with
how I questioned the world. I find I still do. Trying to figure the "why" of things can lead
on paths that loop in endless circles with no answers. Sometimes "why" simply is and must be
accepted as it is. I have since learned to ask "why not?"! As Janis Joplin said, "Don't compromise
yourself. You're all you've got." So why not..... if you open your heart, mind and soul to the possibilities,
they become endless.
"Artic" in Articyn is my touch stone. She is a source of unconditional love, my constant companion, my protector, my
hope, my reason to smile, for she is all that is right in my world, no matter how
wrong my day has been. You can meet her on Articyn's colliekids page. Her presence in my
life has made a remarkable difference in me. If you could meet her you'd love her too.
Everyone does.
Enjoy the time you spend with me. Thanks for stopping at Articyn's Touch.
