Articyn Collies is dedicated to my first registered collie, Artic Secret and all that she has brought into my life. Her spirit and love of life touch all who meet her...including her mentor AJ, who hated her upon his first glimpse. He felt he was the only collie I ever needed and she didn't belong here. It didn't take her long before she broke down the barriers. The two of them became best of friends and created a bond that lasted to the very day he died. She insisted on going to the vet with us. She would not allow her best friend to leave without her gentle presence comforting both of us.
AJ was my shadow - my companion. He was a shelter rescue collie who came to believe he was as human as I. He seldom left my side. Other humans were tolerated, I was adored and loved. Artic..."Teeka" made us realize the great gifts of her generous spirit, and a heart that beats warm and wise. Teeka teaches all that love knows no boundaries.
